Quantico Season 2: Synopsis Released; Trouble Follows Alex in Her Move to the CIA
Alex will once again find herself in the center of a conspiracy
ABC just released the synopsis for Quantico Season 2, which is set to be aired on September 25. In the beginning of the new season, Alex will not be seen in the Quantico base. Instead, she will be at The Farm, a CIA facility where recruits are trained to become spies.
Another Chance to Serve
Alex was able to clear her name in Quantico Season 1 and in the process, she was able to save millions of lives. She was able to expose the very man who trained her at Quantico to be the mastermind behind the bombing. It is, therefore, rather shocking that she was fired by the FBI.

In the final scenes of the season finale, however, Alex was given a chance to serve her country again but this time, in the top US intelligence agency, the CIA. After surviving a devastating conspiracy in the first season, she will face a bigger and more dangerous one in the upcoming season.
Quantico Season 2 Synopsis
The synopsis says that Alex will be navigating the world of espionage. This is something that is even more dangerous and different from what she has been trained to do in the past. The conspiracy will be a threat to countless lives all over the world and will make everybody around her questionable.
New Conspiracy, New Agency
It is clear from the synopsis that Alex will once again be pulled in the center of a deadly conspiracy. This time, the conspiracy will not only be within the borders of the Unites States.
In Season 1, Alex got involved in the conspiracy because of her personal link to Liam. They knew each other even before Quantico because he was friends with her father. It will be puzzling how she will be involved in the new conspiracy in a new place where she is supposed to start on a clean slate. Another big question is how her FBI colleagues will figure in the conspiracy and the new season as a whole considering that Alex is in a totally new environment.
In other developments, Blair Underwood is the newest member of the Quantico Season 2 cast. After an appearance at the end of the first season, Henry Czerny will be making a comeback in the upcoming season.
