Rapper The Game Denies Assaulting Fiancée Tiffney Cambridge Following 'Broken Nose' Reports
"Marrying The Game" stars Tiffney Cambridge and her fiancé The Game recently addressed domestic assault reports.
On Friday fans of the VH1 reality series were shocked to hear reports claiming the rapper, born Jayceon Terrell Taylor, was being investigated for domestic assault against Cambridge. The school teacher, who shares two children with Game, reportedly claims that her nose was broken and that her eye socket was injured after the 34-year-old hip-hop star repeatedly punched her in the face on March 19.
As a result the L.A. County Sheriff's Department has launched a criminal investigation, according to TMZ.com.
"I don't want to give fuel to these false accusations, but the truth will definitely come out," Game said in a statement. "I am always looking out for my children's safety and have never laid a hand on Tiffney."
Cambridge, 38, has not publicly denied the domestic assault reports and instead she recently shared a series of cryptic posts on Instagram. Perhaps the most telling post is her response to a friend's text message about the truth prevailing.
"All I needed to see… Thank you Jesus. Thank you to my family, friends, & supporters.. Nothing more to be said or explained," she captioned alongside a screenshot of the text relating to the bible verse Isaiah 49:25.
Another cryptic post reads: "I Thank God For Protecting Me From What I Thought I Wanted & Blessing Me With What I Didn't Know I Needed."
The couple have been involved on and off for nine years, and their relationship woes are often played out on their reality TV show.
Earlier this year Game fueled split rumors when he blasted "Basketball Wives" star Tami Roman and accused her of "ruining my family."
"I hope you and that d--- b---- blue burn in hell for ruining my family!!!!! Ya'll f------ with the wrong n----!!!" Game wrote on Roman's Instagram page. "Go ahead and block me & erase this b----!!! That ain't gonna change nothing or what I'm about to do!"
