Real Housewives of Atlanta News: NeNe Leakes 'Uncomfortable' Talking To Phaedra Parks About Apollo Nida Prison Sentence?
NeNe Leakes is revealing her apprehension about conversing with fellow "Real Housewives of Atlanta" co-star Phaedra Parks after the latter's husband Apollo Nida was sentenced to eight years in prison.
Parks, the 42-year-old "Real Housewives of Atlanta" attorney, was absent from her husband's prison sentencing earlier this month, while admitting to marital issues on and off the show. Now that Nida has received an eight-year prison sentence for allegedly creating fake businesses, false bank accounts and using stolen checks while defrauding automotive lenders, Leakes is being questioned about the ordeal.
While on Bravo late night talk show, "Watch What Happens Live" host Andy Cohen questioned Leakes about her thoughts concerning Nida.

"I feel bad," she revealed. "You know, I know he committed a crime, and I know all that, but I feel bad because I really like Apollo."
Still, it seems she is not ready to bring the conversation up with Parks.
"That's kind of uncomfortable. I don't know how to like… 'Hey, Phaedra, so, Apollo got…how many years, girl,'" Leakes told Cohen. "Like, that's so not a conversation. So we didn't talk about that. I feel bad for her."
Parks' singer and producer friend Kandi Burruss, who also stars on the Bravo television series, insists the lawyer is doing fine.
"Phaedra's doing great. She's basically working," Burruss told HollywoodLife.com previously. "That's how I deal with things too; when I have a lot going on, I just put more into work."
Burrus added, "I know that she's promoting her book and doing the book tour and stuff like that and she's not really trying to focus as much on what's happening."
However, a source reportedly told the publication that Parks is not happy with her husband's situation.
"(She) wants nothing but the best of the best for herself and children, and the fact her husband is about to go away for a long time, leaves a bad taste in her mouth," a source reportedly told Hollywood Life. "She's embarrassed but knowing her, she'll be all right."
