Rihanna Avoids Drake at Summer Jam After Party? 'Pair Did Not Interact'

Rihanna and Drake reportedly avoided each other at a Summer Jam after party on Sunday amid reports of a split.

The pair, who reportedly began dating earlier this year, both partied at the VIP Room in New York City following their appearances at the Hot 97 Summer Jam at MetLife Stadium. Onlookers claim Rihanna, 26, kept her distance from the "Worst Behavior" rapper, 27, which fueled recent split rumors.

"Rihanna was at the table in front of the DJ booth," a source told New York Post gossip column Page Six.

"They smiled at each other, but that was it. He kept to himself and played some new songs. Rihanna danced with her friends," the insider added.

Drake arrived at the club with his fellow Young Money associate Lil Wayne while Rihanna is said to have showed up with friends. Earlier this year the pair were seemingly inseparable when the Bajan singer accompanied the Canadian rapper on the European leg of his Would You Like A Tour tour but they reportedly ended their romance last month.

"They really did not interact at all. She looked at him a few times and would smile, but they didn't speak or even come near each other," a source told E! News. "Both stayed late, until around 4 a.m., but they did not leave together. Both went their separate ways."

On Wednesday, Rihanna stepped out for dinner in Paris where she has been promoting her new fragrance Rogue in recent days.

The "Pour It Up" singer wore head-to-to black and showed no signs of strain as she happily waved at waiting paparazzi.

"[Drake] thinks [Rihanna's] wonderful, accomplished and an all around sex symbol and he will never not think that. It's just that he realizes that a friendship would be more appropriate for them," a source told HollywoodLife.com of their split.
