Rihanna, Chris Martin Dinner Date Was Strictly 'Business' (PHOTOS)

Rihanna and Chris Martin were photographed having dinner together in Los Angeles on Sunday and despite romance rumors insiders say their outing was all business.

The Bajan singer, 26, and the Coldplay singer, 37, recently dined at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif., where they reportedly spoke for two hours.

Rihanna wore head-to-toe black skinny jeans and a blouse with ¾ length bell sleeves paired with point-toe heels. Martin kept is casual in jeans and a shirt.

Fans immediately began speculating whether the dinner date was romantic, however a source has since confirmed that the pair were simply discussing potential business ventures.

"Chris is nice, a real great guy who makes her laugh but in no way are they doing anything other than talking business and music," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "That's it and that's what they were discussing."

In 2012 they collaborated on the song "Princess of China," which is featured on Coldplay's fifth studio album Mylo Xyloto. While it is unclear what exactly the two singers discussed during dinner, some fans are speculating whether a new collaboration is in the works.

"He's cool ... but he's not Rihanna's type," the insider said adding "It was a simple business dinner and afterward, they bounced separately."

Rihanna has been linked to Canadian rapper Drake this year as they were photographed holding hands in March, however recent reports of a split raised doubts about their alleged relationship.

In March, Martin announced his separation from Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow. The estranged couple wed in 2003 one year after meeting at a Coldplay concert and while they appeared to be happily married throughout their 10 years together, they were dealing with marital woes behind closed doors.

"It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate," they said in a joint statement.
