Rihanna Workout Routine Revealed
Many marvel and wonder at the toned and fit body Rihanna maintains from the stage to the beach. But now fans can wonder no more, as the star's trainer has revealed the work out and diet required to maintain that body.
Rihanna's trainer Harley Pasternak told People magazine that Rihanna has "such a beautiful body naturally. With someone like her, it's about fine tuning."
According to Pasternak Rihanna works out at least three times a day for at least 25 minutes when on the road. But once she's home "Rihanna increases her sessions to five days a week and [ups] her cardio to a total of 30 minutes a day."
The 23-year-old Barbadian singer focuses on cardio and sweats through activities like cycling, skipping, stationary jogging, and jumping jacks. These are great exercises for the busy star as Pasternak explains, "she can do those in a hotel room or backstage before a show."
Along with exercise Rihanna sticks to a reasonable diet high in protein. She eats five small meals a day, and satisfies cravings with bean-based chips.
Harley Pasternak trains many other singers, actors, and pop idols including, but not limited to, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Katy Perry and Megan Fox. He also co-hosts "The Revolution," a lifestyle makeover show on ABC. And Pasternak is the creator of the 5-factor diet.
According to 5factor.com Pasternak's diet allows dieters to eat five small meals a day and exercise just 25 minutes a day. Pasternak insists that the five small meals include just 5 ingredients: protein, fiber, healthy carbs, a healthy fat, and a sugar-free drink. The diet also allows participants one day a week to eat whatever they want.
Pasternak's diet is popular around the world. And if Rihanna's ability to stay toned and fit is any indication of how well the 5-factor diet works, Pasternak might just earn himself more than a few more clients.
