Rob Kardashian Weight Loss: Hikes in Hopes of Losing 40 Pounds by July 4th
After being open about his weight loss struggles over the past year, Rob Kardashian revealed this week one of his latest weight loss plans.
Rob Kardashian admitted earlier this year that he had gained over 40 pounds while dating singer Rita Ora. After the couple split, Kardashian said it was time to focus on himself again, which included getting back into shape. One of his most recent plans to achieve that goal, based on his recent excursions, includes taking hikes.
Brother to Kim Kardashian, who is struggling with her own body issues during pregnancy, Rob was spotted on a hike in Culver City California Wednesday, according to TMZ. Over the past months, the reality star has been very open about his struggles with losing weight.
"Every time I hop in the shower and see myself naked I cry," Kardashian said last month during an E! News special with Ryan Seacrest.
Kardashian previously noted that his goal was to drop all 40 pounds by July 4. To do that, he has also been working with a personal trainer and attended sessions at the gym. It wad during one of those gym sessions in March that Kardashian entered a dispute with the paparazzi.
Police launched an investigation into Kardashian after a photographer accused the reality star of stealing from her. Kardashian allegedly took the memory card out of the photographer's camera after she snapped a picture of him shirtless, according to TMZ.
Kardashian claimed to friends that he was training at a West Hollywood gym owned by famed trainer Gunnar Peterson when the photos were taken. Kardashian was changing in the "garage," friends told TMZ when the photographer began to snap shots.
The garage is closed off to the public and requires a code for entry. A person who "manages" the gym told TMZ that photographers "have a custom of waiting on public property to get their shot" of celebrities that frequent the gym, but it is unclear how the woman might have gotten on to private property. He was charged with battery and theft, but plead not guilty to all charges last week.
