The movie is set on a Halloween period in the year 1976.
The story revolves around five carnival workers who were abducted and were locked inside a hellish storage space. This nightmarish brutality intensifies as the hostages were bound to participate in a game called 31.
The goal of the game is to see who among the five will survive 12 hours with violent, sadistic clowns.
The Clowns
A series of photos from the producers can be seen on this link.
According to a spoiler, one of the clowns, named Sex-Head, is played by Elizabeth Daily. Her role gives off an intriguing vibe as much as the others. Each clown might have a different personality and different capability.
Another clown is named Doom-Head who, based on the photos released, had an encounter with one of the carnival workers (portrayed by actress Sheri Moon Zombie) filled with blood and injuries.
Another notable character is the Killer Dwarf Nazi. He is known for being a devil-worshipper. The dwarf is often seen surrounded by giant bunnies, chainsaw and sex images.
Rob Zombie's Touches
You know the movie is directed by Zombie when you see traces of grime and crust (please change the terms) in all the elements of the movie - that's from the setting to all of the characters involved.
Zombie is also known for his controversial sexual content containing naked women wearing very revealing clothes. Initially, his films caused a lot of stir with the critics, but now that Zombie is known to do these kinds of films, the talks stopped and the fans who loved his craft continued to support him.
