Robin Thicke Not Over Paula Patton: I'll 'Never Give Up' on Her, Says 'Blurred Lines' Singer (VIDEO)
Robin Thicke isn't over his estranged wife Paula Patton and is still trying to get her back, even proclaiming publicly that he will "never give up" on her. However, the "Blurred Lines" singer seems to have accepted that his marriage is on the rocks as he was spotted without his wedding ring on Friday.
Robin Thicke's relationship with longtime girlfriend and now estranged wife Paula Patton clearly hasn't been reconciled, if his behavior at his last concert in New York City is any indication. The 36-year-old singer-songwriter took a lengthy break between some of his hit songs to talk about the need for "love" and "forgiveness" in relationships.
"One thing I learned is that when you find that special person, when you find that special someone, you've got to do whatever it takes, you know, and never give up," Thicke said in a video captured by TMZ. "We've got to learn to forgive each other, learn to love each other, no matter who it is in your family or relationship."
"Because you're always gonna need your friends and family through the good times and the bad times," the singer continued, alluding to the soured relationship with the "Baggage Claim" actress.
Thicke, 37, and Patton, 38, announced their separation late last month and although neither has revealed the reasoning behind it, some have speculated that it could have been Thicke's unscrupulous behavior and cheating allegations. The "Lost Without U" crooner had been photographed and filmed in several compromising situations with other women and was accused of cheating as well.
The couple is rumored to still be communicating. Patton received three large bouquets of white flowers to her house on Feb. 27, and Thicke has spoken well of her at various appearances and concerts.
The couple shares one 3-year-old son, Julian. Thicke and Patton have been married for nine years but first met as teens, getting into a relationship when the singer was just 16.
