'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' Spoilers: Fresh Update on Felicity Jones' Character

Details about the upcoming "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" have been revealed.

Fans have been curious about the newest addition to the franchise, which is set to release by the end of this year. A confirmed detail regarding the film is that Felicity Jones will be starring in it. While there has yet to be official information on her character, there have been several rumors centered on the matter.

There are speculations that her character will be named Lyra Erso. Many fans have been comparing Felicity Jones with the newest star of the franchise, Daisy Ridley. A distinct similarity between the two characters would be their British accent, as well as background. This produced theories of their connection to each other. However, there has yet to be any confirmation on the matter.

Meanwhile, a leak for the upcoming film was released by a site called Making Star Wars. It also provided some details regarding Jones' upcoming characters. According to the site, Jones' character will be named Jyn. It also revealed that her code name is "Seal Leader Green."

Another cast member for "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is Eunice Olumide, who is a Scottish supermodel. It was revealed that her character will be a Rebellion leader. While her character is not a major role, she was able to share some details regarding the film during an interview.

According to Slash Film, she stated, "That was a really awesome experience. I don't have lines but it was an incredible experience to be part of such an iconic film. I was originally supposed to play a nomad, but since I'm athletic I ended up playing a rebellion leader."

She also added that despite her small role, she is happy to be part of the franchise. She said, "If my scene gets cut or not cut I was entered into the George Lucas Archives. I got into a 3D scanner and they did a scan. They scan all the characters so they can reproduce individual toys or computer games. I will be a toy. It was an amazing experience."

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" will be released in theaters on Dec. 16.
