Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Rumors Include 4K Screen, Would Come in 'Dual-Edge' Version as Well

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is one of the most awaited devices from the Korean manufacturer this year. After launching the first dual-edged smartphone in the Galaxy S6 Edge earlier this year, there are rumors that the upcoming phablet would get a similar version.

According to a recent report, some of the rumors surrounding the Galaxy Note 5 include a UHD or 4K display. This is due to the recent development of the technology, which Samsung could be using to get ahead of Apple once more.

Other rumored specs include an Exynos 7422 chipset, an octa-core CPU, and the trademark S-Pen for the Note series. Given that the Note 4 had a 16MP primary camera, the Note 5 could boast a higher resolution sensor.

In addition, Samsung could also be launching a dual-edged version of the Galaxy Note. In a recent report by Phone Arena, the device was codenamed Project Zero 2, though there are still nothing to confirm such smartphone.

However, reports have already designated a model number for the dual-edge device. Dubbed as SM-G928, the device will boast the same Super AMOLED display of the company's flagships. The device could pack either a 5.4 or 5.5-inch screen, a Snapdragon 808 chipset, 32GB of internal memory, and 3GB of RAM.

Interestingly, in spite the similar build, dimensions, and quality, the Project Zero 2 is rumored to miss the S-Pen. The accessory's functionality could be replaced by the two dual-edged screen that the Galaxy Note 5 Edge could boast.
