S-Pen. Samsung made the S-Pen much more accessible than the ones that are in the previous Note series. It has a smaller tip that will make the touch experience more accurate and precise. It has a pressure level of 4,096 that is twice as sensitive with the ones in Note 5 which is 2,048. The new S Pen is sealed with rubber and silicon that makes it water and dust resistant. People can still use it even when there are water plops all over the screen.

The new S Pen can be used to write and pin a memo to the lock screen, make an animated GIF, magnify windows, and translate words in over 70 languages.

Iris Scanner. With the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7, people can enjoy a higher level of security using the iris scanner. This new layer of biometric security works with the use of the device's secondary camera on the front that beams out an infrared light into the eyes. This camera takes a reading and unlocks the device once authenticated.

This new security feature is more secure than a fingerprint scanner because fingertips can be replicated whereas, the iris is harder to copy.

Iris scans can be used not only to unlock the phone but also to unlock a Private Folder where important files such as passport or banking information can be stored.
