Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo Rumors, Specs: Korean Phone Maker to Re-Introduce Galaxy S5 To The Market With Better Specs
Samsung has been known to provide support to its devices that were released at least two years ago. However, it seems the Korean manufacturer is taking support to another level.
According to recent reports by SamMobile, the phone maker is planning to re-introduce its former flagship, the Galaxy S5 to the market. The Korean company would reportedly call it as the Galaxy S5 Neo.
In the report by GSM Arena, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo is said to boast most of the specs of the former flagship such as the 5.1-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in memory, a 16MP primary shooter, and a 2,800mAh battery.
In the report, the Galaxy S5 Neo will also come in two versions, single SIM and dual SIM editions, and arrive in the market equipped by Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
However, in spite of the Galaxy S5 specs, there will be some updated ones. Some of the improved specs include a 5MP front shooter, as well as an Exynos 7580 chipset, with 64-bit octa-core CPU running at 1.6GHz, and a Mali-T720 GPU.
There is no word yet whether the Galaxy S5 Neo will rock the original S5's "dotted" design. The device is expected to be revealed in more leaks in the coming weeks.
