Sarah Palin Says She Will Sue Azaelia Banks for Twitter Rant

Following her refusal to accept Azaelia Banks' apology, Sarah Palin now says she will sue the rapper for her Twitter rants that the politician refers to as "dangerous attacks" against her and her family.

In an exclusive statement released to People, the former Alaska governor said, "I'm suing Azaelia Banks and can't wait to share my winnings with others who have gone defenseless against lies and dangerous attacks far too long."

Banks is no first-timer to similar controversies as she has also gained the rage of the LGBT community last year when she called them "white KKK's." In her most recent social media rants, she suggested that Palin should be sexually attacked by a gang of black men.

U.S.A Today notes that the feud began when Banks reacted negatively to a satirical news article that jokingly quoted the politician stating African-Americans loved being engulfed in slavery. As many people already know, Banks has never backed out on any issue regarding the blacks.

Though Banks has since deleted her tweet about Palin and has apologized through a lengthy Tumblr post, the TV personality isn't letting the younger lady go without a fight.

Palin also said in her statement that many people have been encouraging her to sue those who verbally attack her and her family and though she didn't listen to any of the suggestions, she is taking her cause to the law this time.

Aside from herself and her clan, Palin said she is suing for the cause of other people who have been attacked in a similar way and were not able to defend themselves. She is reportedly talking to attorneys regarding the nature of the lawsuit that she will file against Banks.

It is unclear when or where Palin will file the case but it is expected that more details will be revealed in the coming days.

Bristol Palin has joined in and in her Patheos blog, where the reality TV star slammed the rapper for making "unimaginable threats" to her mom and for including her children in her shout outs.
