'Scandal' Season 7 Spoilers: Huck to Cut Ties with Olivia

Olivia (Kerry Washington) will end up losing her old friends if her father has indeed killed Quinn (Katie Lowes) in the upcoming second half of the current season of "Scandal."

According to speculations, the ex White Hat leader's friendship with Huck (Guillermo Diaz) and Abby (Darby Stanchfield) will come to an end the moment Quinn's death is revealed. At the moment, there is still no confirmation if Rowan (Joe Morton) really shot her in front of Olivia. He abducted Quinn to force his daughter to return his precious dinosaur bones, but she refused. To prove that he was not kidding around, he got his gun and fired.

While the scene did not show the actual shooting, bits of blood could be seen on Rowan's skin after. Olivia's screams also indicate that her worst fear just happened. Quinn was a loyal friend of Olivia until she left OPA to become Mellie's (Bellamy Young) right hand woman. Her departure sent the firm into near collapse. Her former colleagues could not help but feel resentment towards her. Quinn and the others struggled hard to win new clients because the old ones refused to work with them without Olivia.

Huck, who is close to Quinn, will definitely harbor animosity towards Olivia when it is revealed that she is the reason why the other woman is dead. It will not matter that they have been friends for years. The moment Olivia left them for her personal ambition, Huck has convinced himself that she was not worthy to be part of his life. Meanwhile, Huck and Abby may end up jobless if QPA disbands. It is predicted that the company will not endure another leadership change. This will only fuel the White Hats' hatred for Olivia, if worse comes to worst.

"Scandal" season 7 will return on Thursday, Jan. 18, at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
