'Scorpion' Season 4 Spoilers: Team Fights Off Poachers to Save Pregnant Deer

Next week on "Scorpion" season 4, the team will tackle a much smaller case compared to the previous weeks' episodes. It is expected to be a defining moment for the future of Happy (Jadyn Wong) and Toby's (Eddie Kaye Thomas) family.

As revealed in the synopsis for episode 3 of "Scorpion" season 4, titled "Grow a Deer, a Female Deer," it will not have anything to do with the main plot set in the two-part "Extinction" story. The team will attempt to save a pregnant deer which is clinging to life after some poachers threatened to kill it. To save the animal and its unborn fawn, team Scorpion will recreate its womb.

Before this pool of geniuses can work their magic, they must avoid getting killed by the poachers, who are somehow fixed on getting their deer back. Perhaps there is more to this story than just saving a single deer.

"The poachers will be the ones on the endangered species list," Walter (Elyes Gabel) can be heard saying in the sneak peek for the episode.

From the looks of it, the team will have to give it their all to save the endangered animal against poachers who are armed with guns and are chasing them on ATV's.

All this baby talk is probably what will lead Happy and Toby to discuss the future of the family. The pair might be looking to expand their family someday but it might not happen this soon since the pair only tied the knot recently. Though not much has been said about the family, reports suspect that producers could speed things up for the sake of ratings.

"Scorpion" season 4 episode 3, titled "Grow a Deer, a Female Deer," airs Monday, Oct. 9 at 10 p.m. EDT on CBS.
