'Scream Queens' Season 2 Spoilers: New Characters Joining Show, More Hospital Scenes
The return of Ryan Murphy's TV series "Scream Queens" is still a long way to go but that doesn't stop fans from getting some news on what will happen next to the characters of the show. According to a report by Entertainment Online, the series is going to welcome four new names to the cast.
The new recruits are all going to be male and will play the role of doctors. The actors are said to be in their late 20's and early 30's. It's not revealed yet on who the actors will be but since the show is star-studded, it's expected that Ryan Murphy will tap some stars whose names are well-established in the Hollywood industry.
The source also revealed that there will be a change in the setting of the series. If season 1 revolved mostly around the fictional Wallace University, the second season will have more scenes in a hospital. It can be remembered that in the last episode, Chanel and her minions, Chanel #3 and Chanel #5, were sent to the psychiatric asylum after being found guilty in a court of law. The story may pick up from there which connects to the entrance of the four male doctors.
As to who will be returning to the series for season 2, Deadline reported that six of the stars from season 1 are sure to reprise their roles. Included in the list are Jamie Lee Curtis as Cathy Munsch, Lea Michele as Hester, Emma Roberts as Chanel, Abigail Breslin as Chanel #5, Billie Lourd as Chanel #3, and Keke Palmer as Zayday.
There are rumors saying that Nick Jonas will also return. But during an interview with The Wrap at the Sundance 2016, the singer-actor said, "I don't know. I think I'm dead for real this time. So I don't know if I'm coming back." But he also hinted that anything can happen. Murphy might create a twist for his character Boone Clemens.
"Scream Queens" season 2 is expected to return this fall on Fox.
