'Scream Queens' Season 2 Spoilers: Will New Season Be Joined By Taylor Swift, Nick Jonas?
Fox confirmed that it had renewed its popular black comedy/horror series "Scream Queens" for a second run during last month's Television Critics Association's winter press tour. The series, which was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan, will keep some of its main cast members but will reportedly feature a new setting. The story will now move from Season 1's fictional Wallace University to a hospital for Season 2.
Though things may look very different from the previous season, fans of the show will be happy to know that there will be many familiar faces in Season 2. Deadline has reported that "Scream Queens" will keep Jamie Lee Curtis, who played the role of Cathy Munsch in Season 1, as well as Emma Roberts, who played Chanel Oberlin around for Season 2. Abigail Breslin (Libby Putney), Billie Lourd (Sadie Swenson), Lea Michele (Hester Ulrich), and Keke Palmer (Zayday Williams) will also reprise their respective roles in the series' second run.
Apart from these main cast members, fans of "Scream Queens" may also be treated to several guest appearances from celebrities from the world of pop music. According to The Wrap, Nick Jonas, who appeared in Season 1, may be returning for the show's sophomore season.

"I don't know," Jonas said. "I think I'm dead for real this time." "So I don't know if I'm coming back," he added. He did, however, give fans a glimmer of hope, saying, "Ryan Murphy is always full of surprises so maybe I'll [still] end up on the show."
There may also be a chance that singer Taylor Swift, of whom Murphy is admittedly a big fan, may guest star in Season 2. In an interview with Hollywood Life, Murphy said: "I love Taylor Swift. I go after Taylor Swift for everything that I do. I have great affection for her."
He also revealed that he had asked the singer to appear in "Scream Queens," saying, "I said, just do one episode, but she (Swift) couldn't even do that."
"But someday, because I'm a big fan," Murphy said.
There has been no official announcement regarding the release date for the second season of "Scream Queens."
