'Scrubs' Actor Zach Braff Surprised to Find Himself in Ads for Erectile Dysfunction in Russia
Zach Braff from "Scrubs" was shocked to find himself on poster ads promoting treatment for erectile dysfunction in Russia.
The comedian shared a photo of an ad in Russia on Twitter where he was wearing his "Scrubs" outfit. But because the texts on the poster were in Russian, he didn't know what he was promoting on the ad.
Lucky for Braff, Twitter user @BrukDiana translated the ad for him.
"Lol, in Russia, Zach Braff 'reinstates masculine strength,' which im pretty sure is a euphemism for curing impotence," her post reads.
In response to the ad, the comedian shared a sarcastic yet witty comeback.
"I am the face of Russian boner problems. #blessed," said the comedian.
Fans of Braff and of "Scrubs" were quick to jump in on the fun and started complimenting the actor in a playful way.
"We love you here in Russia even if your penis doesn't work anymore," Twitter user @elkene said in response to Braff's post of the erectile dysfunction advertisement.
On the other hand, Twitter user @SierraMalia shared a side-by-side of the erectile dysfunction ad with Braff — who is also a screenwriter and director — behind the camera, and said, "Get yourself a man that can do both."
Apparently, Braff isn't the only victim of being used in advertisements that he didn't know about. Several Twitter users shared other photos of celebrities popping in local posters in Russia.
Twitter user @EenyMeeeny shared photos of Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and George Clooney that appeared to be on glass tombstones with the sign of the cross.
Meanwhile, @fastalkin_fanny shared an article with Jensen Ackles' crying face on the page, apparently talking about alcoholism recovery.
However, it appears that Russia likes the show "Scrubs" a lot since a poster for medical services was found with the cast members — Braff, Sarah Chalke, and Donald Faison — playing their characters from the show.
