'Shameless' Season 6 Trailer Teases More Gallagher Craziness Next Season

For the loyal fans of the Gallagher family, January seems too far away to get another dose of fun from hit series "Shameless." The new season will premiere at the start of next year, and the sneak peek of the show's sixth season shows more craziness from the Gallaghers.

According to Den of Geek, things will change but more will still stay the same. Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) will return from the juvenile hall, and he will come back to the Chicago South Side more mature and bitter. Fiona (Emmy Rossum) was also seen getting involved with her boss, Sean (Dermot Mulroney), while the patriarch of the family, Frank Gallagher (William H. Macy), still remains the same as ever, now that he's moved back home to his family.

Frank was seen in the trailer of "Shameless" season 6 professing his love to his kids at the beginning of the clip, while his children were looking disgusted at him. When he left the kitchen, Fiona immediately said, "I don't know how much more of that I can take before I stab him in the neck with a broken beer bottle." Debbie (Emma Kenney) just rolled her eyes after.

Based on the trailer that was shown, it appears that there will be tons of conflicts and fights among the family members, as well as with the other new faces in the show. Fans can't wait for their weekly dose of comedy this coming January.

A synopsis of the upcoming season was released, and it reads, "This season, 'Shameless' picks up a few months after last year's finale, as the Gallaghers prepare for yet another long Chicago winter. Season six will see more than just the arctic Lake Michigan winds whipping through the Southside. Change is hard, and the Gallaghers are as surprised as anyone at how life is turning out for them. But the question remains, as they come into their own and find out who they are, is it really possible that the Gallaghers could grow apart for good?"

Watch the premiere of "Shameless" season 6 on Showtime next year on Jan. 10.
