Sony Xperia C4 Specs, Release Date: Japanese Manufacturer Unveils Semi-Flagship, Boasts 5.5-Inch 1080p Display, 2GB, 13MP Shooter
Last year, Sony broke the trend of its Xperia Z flagship after announcing an "alternate" flagship that boasts most but not all of the features of the "real" flagships.
One year later, the Japanese manufacturer has unveiled the successor for that smartphone, but it won't come out in the market until July.
According to a report by Phone Arena, Sony announced its new Xperia C4 "semi-flagship."
So what does this new Android phone offer?
In the report, the Xperia Z4 boasts a massive 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, an MT6752 chipset, and an ARM Mali-T760 GPU.
The camera department, one of the major strengths of Sony in its smartphones, boasts a 13MP camera, but it is a Sony Exmor sensor – the one that Apple will reportedly use for its upcoming iPhones. In front is a 5MP front shooter to handle selfie enthusiasts.
As for the phone's display, it comes with the usual Bravia Engine that makes the images a lot more colorful and bright.
Other features of the Xperia C4 include 3D surround, Clear Audio, Clear Bass, xLOUD, and a 2,600mAh battery.
Unfortunately, the phone does not come with the usual water and dust resistance.
In the report, the Sony Xperia C4 is tipped to launch not just in China, but in other countries.
