Spain vs Australia Live Stream Free: Watch World Cup 2014 Football Online (ESPN 2 Details)

Australia will play Spain on Monday at the 2014 World Cup, but this game will have no repercussions on Group B, as both of these teams have already crashed out of the tournament ahead of this game. Nevertheless both will want to finally claim at least one win in the competition today. The game will kick off at 12 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the ESPN 2 network or online through free live stream (details below).

In team news, Australia star midfielder Tim Cahill misses this game due to suspension after picking up two bookings across the two previous games. It is expected that striker Adam Taggart could take his place.

For Spain, however, the team is likely to change drastically from the ones that lost to Holland and Chile. Many of the younger and more inexperienced players are set to start to gain experience in a World Cup clash, as the team looks to rebuild for the future.

Team news ahead of the game has claimed that Gerard Pique may miss the game due to injury; he has been reported to have an adductor muscle problem.

Spain have conceded seven goals in their losses to the Netherlands and Chile, which is amazingly more than they did in winning Euro 2008, World Cup 2010 and Euro 2012 combined. Not many had expected them to fall in the group stages, and the unceremonious way in which they have been dumped out of the tournament has led many to claim it is the end of an era of dominance for Spanish football. Whether that is true or not remains to be seen, but many might do well not to forget that they still have a wealth of young talent rising up through the ranks, and they could potentially become the next world beaters.
