'Star Wars: Battlefront' Release Date Rumors: DICE Launches PS4 Trailer
The "Star Wars: Battlefront" developer has just released the PlayStation (PS) 4 trailer for the sci-fi shooter video game and to add to the fans' excitement over it.
Game developer DICE specifically created the "Star Wars: Battlefront" trailer for the PS4 platform for fans who are hungry for "Star Wars" stuff and are waiting for the actual game to be released. The said trailer is less of a gameplay and more of a live action sequence or a tribute to fans, according to Realty Today.
At the beginning of the "Star Wars: Battlefront" trailer, a brother is seen being idle in an office and trying to reminisce the good old times with his siblings. The video also shows various kinds of Star Wars memorabilia including costumes, cakes, and other things.
Aside from that, the "Star Wars: Battlefront" trailer features the battle of Hoth as a game mode. The appearance of the TIE Fighters and AT-AT walkers in the video also served to stir up the fans' excitement over the upcoming game.
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that "Star Wars: Battlefront" will welcome more players into its roster. Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett are rumored to make their way into the game, and Han Solo, Emperor Palpatine, and Princess Leia Organa have been confirmed to be playable characters in the upcoming game, K Pop Starz reports.
Since Princess Leia Organa is fearless and has great battle strategies, she will be a leader in the game. However, she does not have a favorite weapon so she will focus on support play. Han Solo will be a delightful character to work with because of his nimbleness and unforgettable lines. Emperor Palpatine, on the other hand, will be a deceptive yet weak character, game designer Jaime Keen said in a PlayStation Blog entry.
"Star Wars: Battlefront" will be officially released on Nov. 17 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and the movie "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will hit theaters on Dec. 17. However, the game will be released in Europe and Australia on Nov. 19.
