'Star Wars: Episode 8' Spoilers: Carrie Fisher Reveals Code Name
Fans have already been creating buzz about the upcoming installment of the new "Star Wars" series.
Even though "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens," was released just a couple of months ago, reports reveal that the upcoming addition to the saga is already in works. It was stated that "Star Wars: Episode VIII" will be written and directed by Rian Johnson.
Many of the cast members of "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" are already back on set to work on the principal photography of the film. It was revealed that the movie will also introduce new members of the cast, such as Benicio del Toro, Laura Dern, and Kelly Marie Tran.
Stars of the upcoming film have been releasing some teasers on their social media accounts regarding the filming of the movie. In fact, one of the original cast members of the franchise, Carrie Fisher, revealed some juicy information regarding the film.
It was stated that Fisher posted a picture on her Twitter account that shows a photo of the "Star Wars: Episode VIII" production chair, which boasted the logo of the film. It reveals the current code name of the movie, which is "Space Bear: Episode VIII."
However, there is still little detail revealed for the movie. It was reported that security for the upcoming installment has decided to level up. According to Cinema Blend, the set will have flying drones to take photos as evidence in case anyone releases any plot secrets.
Nevertheless, John Boyega, who plays the role of Finn, recently shared some details about his character. There have been several rumors suggesting that Finn and Poe Dameron, played by Oscar Isaac, will develop a romantic relationship in the upcoming installment.
However, the actor addressed the rumors during an interview with Radio Times. He said, "As far as I'm concerned when JJ [Abrams] sat us down to go through the script, it was a bromance. But now I'm learning what Mark Hamill said before, when he didn't know that Darth Vader was Luke's father — you never know what they're going to pull."
"Star Wars: Episode VIII" is expected to release in theaters by Dec. 15, 2017.
