'Suicide Squad' News: Cast and Crew Re-Shooting to Add Lighter Scenes

Following critics' evaluation of "Batman vs Superman," David Ayer has recently decided to beef things up in "Suicide Squad" to make sure the audiences and critics alike will enjoy.

According to Birth Movies Death, an insider explained that a trailer for the upcoming movie wherein the hit Queen song "Bohemian Rhapsody" is featured has all the fun that fans are expecting. "Every joke in the movie is in the trailer," the source said, meaning there's not too much fun after all.

As DC fans already know, critics called Zack Snyder's film lacking in excitement, boring, and disappointing - largely due to the serious tone that audiences are looking for. It turns out that Ayer has been looking at the reviews and comments that people have thrown at Warner Bros.' biggest superhero movie yet.

Several other sources confirmed to the outlet that reshoots are going on and big changes are being applied to make the upcoming film fitting for the big screen fans who are not only looking for quality but amusement as well.

Meanwhile, Jared Leto is just as excited as his fans are. Playing the most iconic role in the history of Bat-enemies is something he considers as a huge privilege. "It's a weighty thing to do. But it's exciting...and I think I'm just really grateful I had the opportunity," he recently told Entertainment Weekly.

The Joker is undeniably the most beloved antagonist who set foot in Gotham City and while he will be featured in a whole new perspective in "Suicide Squad," it is expected that Leto's performance will up the figures when it comes to getting the total numbers of views.

Leto is a method actor and over the past months, his costars have shared their experiences and encounters with the actor who takes his roles more seriously than other names in the industry.

In a Twitter post on April Fool's Day, Leto shared a short clip of his Joker with a beard. The 8-seconder showed his character with a brown beard and colorful edits added to the hilarious clip.
