'Suicide Squad' News: New Posters Revealed for Villain-Heroes
Fans will finally get to see one of this year's most-awaited movies in a few months, and with the nearing premiere, new posters have also been released and the new pieces are not helping ease the anticipation at all.
The group promo art looked as if they were made to entice not only adults and teenagers but even kids who would like to see a whole new world of heroes. Drawn with the combination of bright and white colors, the group poster showed all the villains in their cartoon forms.
David Ayer posted the piece on Twitter with the caption: "Worst. Heroes. Ever. #SuicideSquad trailer drops Tuesday night in the DC Films Special! 9:30/8:30c on The CW!"
The new trailer is expected to give fans new scenes and new reasons to create theories and speculations about the plot and characters. While there are already a good number of rumors about the upcoming movie, it is expected that the new teaser will be packed with even more action than the earlier teasers released.
Aside from the director, other cast members, including Adewale Akinnuiye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Adam Beach (Slipknot), and Karen Fukuhara (Katana), also posted their individual posters to give fans a closer look at their characters.
The movie will tackle the lives of villains who were recruited by the government to become some sort of "secret service" agents who will have to embark on missions without the assistance of any other teams from the government. They will be biting the bait in exchange of a hefty price: freedom.
Ben Affleck's Batman is rumored to make a cameo appearance, as well as other heroes in the DC universe. It is yet to be confirmed if Affleck and even Henry Cavill's Superman will be making short appearances.
Also starring Will Smith (Deadshot), Jared Leto (Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), and others, the movie will hit theaters on Aug. 5.
