'Supergirl' and 'The Flash' Crossover Spoilers: Silver Banshee and Livewire Among the Villains

DC Comics fans are thrilled already to catch the most-awaited episode that will have Supergirl and the Flash teaming up together in one episode to fight the baddies. According to a report by Blastr, "Supergirl" and "The Flash" crossover will be happening on March 28 with the episode titled as "World's Finest."

There aren't much details on how the plot will turn out, but some new set of photos from the epic crossover surfaced online, giving fans some hints on what to expect from the upcoming episode. The behind-the-scenes photos released show Melissa Benoist as Supergirl and Grant Gustin as The Flash, and as evident on the pictures, the two have been laughing it up on set with their full superhero costumes on.

Aside from these, photos of who the superheroes will be fighting against have also surfaced online. Design & Trend reported that the Girl of Steel and the Scarlett Speedster will be facing Silver Banshee, played by Italia Ricci, and Livewire, played by Brit Morgan. It's not the first time, though, that the villains will appear on the show.

The source detailed that Morgan made her debut appearance on "Supergirl" in episode 4 titled "Livewire." Meanwhile, Ricci appeared as Siobhan Smythe in the previous episode titled "Truth, Justice and the American Way." Smythe, who is an employee in CatCo, is the alter-ego of Silver Banshee.

As to how Kara and Barry will cross paths, it's not detailed yet as the plot has been kept under wraps. However, it's speculated that Supergirl will come from an alternate Earth based on "The Flash" season 2 episode 13 titled "Welcome to Earth-2." The crossover may be also one-way only since it is only Barry who can cross dimensions while Supergirl, at the present, cannot.

More details about the most-awaited crossover will unveiled soon. "World's Finest" episode was written by Andrew Kreisberg and Michael Grassi.
