'Supergirl' Season 1 Spoilers: Kara Visits Fortress of Solitude; Gets New Costume in 'Falling' Episode
Superhero fiction action-adventure TV series "Supergirl" season 1 is all set to air its episode 15. But before it could make its way to the small screen on CBS, spoilers gave fans a heads-up on what's to come next in the life of Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist) or Supergirl.
According to Comic Book, Monday's episode will be titled "Solitude" and it has something to do with the female superhero visiting her cousin Superman's place of solace and occasional headquarters known as the Fortress of Solitude. CBS has also released a sneak peek promo of the upcoming episode and it shows Supergirl having to deal with the latest villain, Indigo, played by "Smallville" alum Laura Vandervoort.
The Canadian actress once played the role of Supergirl in "Smallville" so when asked how it felt to be part of a show with a character she once played as, Vandervoot answered that it felt a "little strange."

"Of course, it's a little strange, but at the same time, it's a new show and it's a different character. It's not the same Supergirl. She just has the same name and history, but they're portraying her differently than we did on 'Smallville,'" Vandervoot answered in an interview with Collider.
Vandervoot's role in "Supergirl" as baddie Indigo is described on the official synopsis as a dangerous being who can transport via the Internet. She is also said to have a connection to Kara's past. Supergirl's visit to the Fortress of Solitude is an effort to find out who might defeat Indigo.
In other news, CBS has also released some sneak peek photos for episode 16, which will be titled "Falling" and will air on March 14. The set of photos shows Kara donning on a new costume as Coming Soon detailed that she will go bad after being exposed to Red Kryptonite, which is known in the DC Comics as a material that causes dramatic shifts in the personalities of Kryptonians.
