'Supernatural' Season 11 Episode 4 Preview: 'Baby' Will Be A Fun Tribute To The Show's Fans

The long-running television series "Supernatural" is bringing another tribute to the show's fans when it airs its fourth episode for season 11 this coming Wednesday on the CW. According to CarterMatt, the episode, entitled "Baby," is going to bring something "weird and experimental" which the report noted as something the show is known for. The "Baby" that will come into focus during this episode is not an actual baby but will be the famed "Baby" of Dean (Jensen Ackles), none other than the Impala that the Winchester brothers drive in their fight against evil.

The episode's official synopsis, as cited in the CarterMatt report, says it all: "Seen entirely from the point of the Impala, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) go on a road trip to fight monsters and demons." The report also likened the coming episode to "Fan Fiction," an earlier episode of the show which is set in all-girls school where a musical adaptation of "Supernatural" was being done, while the brothers were investigating a teacher's disappearance. With "Baby," fans will be treated to a unique perspective of the brothers' supernatural adventures, from the car itself.

"Baby" is a black 1967 Chevrolet Impala which was passed down to Dean by his father, John. Because the car is instrumental in their fight against evil monsters and creatures, the car's trunk has been retrofitted to hold an arsenal of weapons, from guns to knives to Holy Water.

The episode's teaser trailer shows the brothers arguing about what to call a creature they are going after, which has characteristics that seem to combine that of a werewolf, a ghoul and a vampire. It follows the events of episode three where the brothers were able to get the witch Rowena to bring the angel Castiel back to normal, after she cast a spell on him.

"Supernatural" airs every Wednesday at 9 p.m. on the CW.
