As seen on the episode 2 promo, Jack discovers that his dad is Lucifer and identifies it as a bad thing, something that both Sam and Dean reassures him with. This gives Sam hope that Jack could be an apple that fell far from the tree.

"Whatever his powers are they could be used for good," Sam says, trying to convince his brother.

However, the boys will become cautious when they hear that Jack is willing to "hurt someone" when it comes to a certain point. Sam and Dean will also get a visit from Donatello (Keith Szarbajka), telling them that they might not be equipped to handle Jack and his powers.

"That's like asking a lion not be a lion ... with a strong dose of god juice!" Donatello tells the Winchesters.

Donatello will also be telling the boys about Asmodeus (Jeffrey Vincent Parise), the new Prince of Hell, who's got a target on Jack's back.

Meanwhile, showrunners Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb reveal to Entertainment Weekly that Kevin Tran will be returning to the series. However, they shared that Kevin will be a different prophet when he returns.

"It's Osric, but it's different so we're having a lot of fun playing with that," Dabb explains.

"Supernatural" season 13 airs every Thursday night at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
