Taylor Swift recently surprised fans with an announcement video revealing "The Swift Life," an upcoming mobile app.

The clip then transitions to what fans can expect from the new app, which includes pictures and videos that will be exclusive to the platform. There will also be Taymojis (or Taylor Emojis) and stickers that fans can collect. Additionally, fans can listen to music on the app and even chat with their friends. The video reveals that songs will be added every week. To top it all off, Swift will be hands-on with the app and can see everything. The "Look What You Made Me Do" singer can even like and comment on posts, much like she does now on social media.

"I think you guys are really gonna like this," she says at the end. "I mean, I hope. It would be preferable if you did."

Swift is not the first celebrity to launch an app. Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, and Katy Perry have all done it before. Swift even partnered with the same company, Glu, that developed "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood," a free-to-play mobile game.

"We've worked closely with Taylor and her team to bring her creative vision to life," Glu president and CEO Nick Earl said in a statement. "The result is a deeply social environment where Taylor and her fans are able to better connect with one another while expressing themselves in an interactive community. We look forward to its worldwide launch later this year."

2017 is an exciting year for Swift fans. Apart from the app, her upcoming album "Reputation" is due for a Nov. 10 release.
