'Teen Wolf' Star Dylan O'Brien Gets Hit by Car on Set of 'Maze Runner'
One of the stars from the hit series "Teen Wolf" suffered from an accident during the filming of "Maze Runner."
Reports said that fan favorite actor Dylan O'Brien received severe injuries after an accident during the shooting for the upcoming installment of the "Maze Runner" series. According to Entertainment Tonight, it was said that he was hit by a car during filming.
The cast and crew of "The Maze Runner" ended up bringing the actor to the hospital, where they found out that he had broken several bones on his face. The director of the upcoming film, Wes Ball, voiced his apologies to O'Brien through his social media account.
He tweeted, "I'm sorry for the grief this accident has caused his friends and family as well as my wonderful cast and crew. It's scary seeing your friend get hurt, but fortunately, Dylan is going to be just fine. After a few weeks of rest and recovery he will be back up and running to finish our adventure together. All the best."
It was revealed that filming was brought to a stop after O'Brien's hospitalization. However, fans can rest assured knowing that the production will continue after the much-needed break.
Meanwhile, fans of the MTV series "Teen Wolf" are wondering how this will affect the upcoming season of the show. After the finale of Season 5, fans are expecting production to begin soon for the upcoming season.
The executive producer of the series Jeff Davis previously said that they will have a difficult time finding co-operating schedules for "Teen Wolf" shooting and the production for O'Brien's new film. With the new injury in place, it can be expected that finding the right schedule for filming will pose a more difficult challenge.
"Maze Runner: The Death Cure" is expected to release in theaters on Feb. 17, 2017.
