'The Affair' Season 2 Episode 11 Spoilers, Recap: Noah Not Happy To Know Alison Kept A Secret
Noah (Dominic West) and Alison (Ruth Wilson) faced another relationship issue this week, and it is all because Alison did not tell the 'Descent' author that she actually quit going to school. Noah is mad that she lied to him about attending med school, and even questioned if their relationship will still work out.
Noah and Max (Josh Stamberg) were talking about the former's declining relationship with Alison. Noah told Max that it his hard for him to trust Alison anymore, especially with a secret like this. He said, "I can't trust her. How do you have a relationship with someone you can't trust?"
However, Max called out Noah's hypocrisy, since that they both know that his and Alison's relationship all began with a lie, and honesty is a virtue that they both lack of. The two were both married at the time that they started seeing each other, with Noah being married to Helen (Maura Tierney), and Alison being married to Cole (Joshua Jackson). Lying came natural to the both of them.

In the sneak peak that was released for the next episode of 'The Affair,' Alison is being described as someone who doesn't have a heart by Oscar Hodges (Darren Goldstein), even before Gabriel, Alison and Cole's son, died. On the other hand, Cole was seen sitting on the witness stand, during Noah's trials, where he was asked if he hates the man who took his wife. The promo ends with the question, and fans wonder what Cole will reply to Noah's lawyer.
