'The Affair' Season 2 Episode 9 Spoilers: Alison May Give Birth Without Noah With Her

Alison (Ruth Wilson) will have to give birth without her fiancé, Noah (Dominic West), at her side, since the latter seems to be busy basking the success of his recently released book, "Descent," in a party.

According to International Business Times, Noah is busy celebrating at a party and was seen flirting with someone on the dance floor, while Alison is at the hospital alone and is about to give birth. More and more viewers are starting to hate Noah again, especially after he made out with Eden (Brooke Lyons), his publicist, in the last episode of the show.

In the promo that was released for the next episode, Noah is seen being welcomed at a party and was even introduced as the "Bad Boy of American Letters." Noah said he has to get home, but the girl he's been dancing with stopped him from leaving the party, and said, "Stay and see what happens." Viewers are curious if he'll cheat on Alison, since everyone knows he's capable of doing that, just like when he cheated with Helen (Maura Tierney) before.

Meanwhile, Cole (Joshua Jackson), Alison's ex-husband, was seen saying in the clip that his family is cursed, and it seems that the "curse" has been passed on to Noah and Alison's baby. At the end of the clip, the doctor who's helping Alison deliver her baby said that the baby's heart rate is slowing down, and later screams to the nurses that she needs help with Alison and her baby.

The synopsis of the upcoming episode of "The Affair" reads, "Alison weathers a momentous journey alone; Helen receives unexpected attention from a sexy but exasperating source; Noah faces a terrible reckoning; Cole is pushed to the edge by an array of challenges."

Watch "The Affair" season 2 episode 9 on Showtime this Sunday, Nov. 29.
