'The Amazing Race' Season 28 Spoilers: Social Media Personalities to Star and Race Around the World Next Season?

The new season of "The Amazing Race" is almost a couple of months away, but fans are very excited to see season 28 this early. For the first time in 28 seasons, the racers are made up of the most popular social media stars, and viewers can't wait to see who will be trending on social media after the race ends.

According to CBS, the 11 teams competing this season are best friends Tyler and Korey, who are both famous in YouTube, and "Clevver" hosts, Erin White Robinson and Joslyn Davis. Vine personalities, Sheri and Cole LaBrant, are also part of the next season, as well as the viral video star Marty Cobb, and her daughter Hagan Parkman.

A father and daughter team will also join the cast this upcoming season, namely the YouTube personalities Scott and Blair Fowler. Also part are the brothers Cameron and Darius, who are both stars in Vine, and Pro Frisbee players Kurt Gibson and Brodie Smith, who are also popular on YouTube.

This season also has power couples like the newlyweds Zach and Rachel King from Vine, Dana Borriello and Matt Steffanina, who are engaged and both YouTube stars, and dating gamers, Burnie and Ashley, who are "Rooster Teeth" hosts. Lastly, Instagram stars and models, Jessica Versteeg and Brittany Oldehoff, complete the list of the teams that will race around the world.

According to Carter Matt, it will be interesting to see how these 11 teams go without their smartphones for weeks while filming, given that they are all technology-dependent. The website also teased that given the big names that are cast in the next season, fans should expect big things to happen. Watch the preview of the next season here.
