'The Ancient Magus' Bride' Episode 6 Spoilers: Chise to Meet the Fairy Queen?

Now that Chise knows her time on Earth may be limited, how will this new revelation affect the way she lives each day in the Japanese fantasy anime series, "The Ancient Magus' Bride"?

Chise may have successfully cleansed and led Matthew and Mina's souls to the afterlife, but in order to do so, she needed to generate and use an immense amount of power that may have just taken off a huge chunk of her lifespan.

As revealed by the mysterious woman named Alice, what makes Sleigh Beggies like Chise valuable is the fact that they can generate an almost bottomless source of magical power. However, this can also put such strain on their bodies, which can, in turn, result in an early death.

Despite knowing this, Chise still chose to stay with her master and fiancé, Elias, and move through with the cleansing of Matthew and Mina's souls.

And it seems that doing so may have just brought her closer to the edge of death. The preview for the next episode titled "The Faerie Queen" shows an unconscious Chise deep in the forest as her body tries to recover the strength and magical powers it has lost.

The episode will be adapting the eighth chapter of the source manga created by Kore Yamazaki, and will also introduce the queen of the faires, Titania, along with her husband, Oberon.

But what business do these fairy royalties have with Elias' sleeping fiancée? Will they be there to help in accelerating Chise's recovery? Or will they only be there to catch a glimpse of the infamous Elias' future bride?

"The Ancient Magus' Bride" airs on Saturdays late night at 1:30 a.m. JST on Tokyo MX and late night at 3:38 a.m. JST on MBS. It also airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. JST on AT-X. A new episode of the mini-animation short companion series, "Maho-Yome," will be available on the following Tuesday on the series' official Twitter page.

Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes will also be available in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
