'The Bachelor' News: Ben Higgins' Sheds Light on 'Dancing with the Stars' Rumors; Lauren Bushnell Still Hurt over Ben-JoJo Issue
ABC's hit reality dating game TV show "The Bachelor" just wrapped up its latest Season 20 on Sunday, March 14 with the 26-year-old Ben Higgins proposing to Lauren Bushnell.
In a press conference, the software salesman from Warsaw, Indiana, revealed that it was the flight attendant whom he had his eyes on from the start.
"My feelings for Lauren were very strong right away. I was still going to be open to the process. Lauren definitely caught my eye from night one," Higgins was quoted as saying by Variety.com.

The media outlet went on to cite the TV personality about the rumors indicating his apparent plans to join dancing TV show, "Dancing With the Stars." In a statement, he clarified that he won't be competing on the other ABC show as he wants to put focus on his immediate concern which is his engagement with Lauren.
"My focus is not on what's next. It's on Lauren and I. Any decision that was made post show was based on what was best for us, and I believe that what's best for us is to really concentrate on what's best for us and to really spend as much time together as possible," the Indiana University alumni further said.
In another development, Bushnell shares, in a recent interview with People.com, what she felt on Higgins telling her about him and Season 20 runner-up JoJo Fletcher.
In a statement, she told the magazine that it's really taxing on the emotion to once again see his confession about his love for the real estate developer.
"Doing the show meant a few months of tears and confusion, so to have to deal with it again as it's airing, it's hard. It starts to wear on me," she said to People adding that it's kind of an "emotional roller coaster."
Fortunately, Ben is there to help her cope with the pain.
"Anytime I do feel things, I express them and he listens and we talk about it," the 25-year-old shared.
For Ben, he can't really regret what he said to JoJo. He's just being true to himself. However he points out that what really matters now is he and Lauren finally being together.
In a separate report from Variety, it was confirmed that Fletcher will be the next leading leady on the next "Bachelorette."
