'The Bachelorette' 2014 Spoilers: 1 Contestant Proposes With $100k Ring, While Runner-Up Still Pines for Andi
"The Bachelorette" featuring Andi Dorfman will air its season finale on Monday, July 28, but reports have already surfaced that contestant Josh Murray proposed with a $100,000 ring and runner-up Nick Viall is still pining for Andi.
Earlier this season, video footage of Nick talking about the season finale leaked to the press and appeared to confirm that he lost out on being with Andi, that she changed her mind and chose to accept Josh's proposal instead. He was not happy with the outcome, and now hopes that at some point, Andi will change her mind again and come back to him.
"He thinks there's no way she can be happy with her choice," a source told TheHollywoodGossip.com. "He was thinking about getting a ring and everything."
"It's been incredibly hard for him. He really thought she was going to pick him. He's almost gone through all the stages of grief: believing that she was going to come to her senses then, and now just feeling really angry and upset," the source told Us Weekly.
Meanwhile, Josh and Andi are reportedly quite happy together and have spent plenty of time together since the finale. Of course, they have had to basically live in seclusion so no one knew of their decision before the finale aired, but the couple has allegedly traveled to Mexico for a vacation after the show aired.
"It is absolutely stunning," a source told Life & Style of the $100,000 ring Josh proposed to Andi with. "He was excited, but seriously shaking … he was so nervous. Andi thought it was adorable."
After the proposal, the two stayed in a villa in the Dominican Republic, where they were finally able to relax and spend time together away from the cameras.
"They didn't do anything besides get to know each other, cuddle, read, and talk. They looked very relaxed and comfortable, and obviously affectionate. They try to see each other as much as they can," the source added. "They even went to Mexico together on a romantic trip."
Watch the season finale of "The Bachelorette" on Monday, July 28, on ABC.
