'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10 Spoilers and Air Date: Penny and Leonard's Wedding Details Revealed; Will Amy Move In with Sheldon?

CBS' multi-awarded series, The Big Bang Theory, is entering a landmark season this September, and it looks like most of the in-show relationships are getting a level up! The season's premiere, titled "The Conjugal Conjecture," will follow Penny and Leonard Hofstadter's wedding day (played by Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki, respectively), and promises to be a sweet, intimate union worthy of the couple. Bazinga!

According to Big Bang Theory executive producer Steve Molaro, the wedding will be held in Pasadena, in an arboretum outdoors. As is typical of most weddings, Penny and Leonard's will not be spared from the usual wedding cold feet and misfortune shenanigans, but fans need not fret: they're going to seal the deal, no matter what happens. Unfortunately, we're still unlikely to find out Penny's maiden name, as the showrunners would like to hold on to that secret!

Fans would remember that Penny and Leonard already got married in Vegas in Season 9. Molaro revealed that Bernadette Wolowitz (played by Melissa Rauch) will be officiating the wedding, but was exceptionally cagey when asked if there were going to be two weddings.

Sheldon and Amy: Will they also get married?

Which brings us pointedly to Sheldon and Amy, who had finally consummated their relationship last season. In an exceptional growth for his character, Sheldon, whose emotional stuntedness has often sidelined the ever-patient Amy, has finally learned to reciprocate her affections through (as he would formally put it) coitus.

While it would seem like a huge jump from their first time together in bed to marriage, it would certainly make sense for Sheldon to pop the question. He'd already bought an engagement ring for Amy in Big Bang Theory's Season 8, only for them to break up before Amy had a chance to find out. And now that Sheldon seems to want to take their relationship to the next level, a wedding would be the next logical choice.

With this new development, Molaro said they were going to "start poking" at Sheldon and Amy's living arrangements. We may see them moving in together in Season 10, though the Big Bang Theory's showrunner said they plan to attack in as Sheldon would: experimental and scientific, rather than a permanent fixture in the show.

Howard and Bernadette's baby

Howard and Bernadette's new benchmark, on the other hand, is their baby. The couple have been struggling, particularly Bernadette, with the idea of having kids amid their successful careers. Bernadette has specifically said she didn't like kids, so whether or not that's going to change as soon as the baby comes is left to anyone's guess.

Excited to put all these theories to the test? "The Big Bang Theory" will air Sept. 19, 8 p.m. at CBS!
