Since Amy and Sheldon broke up at the end of the last season, the two were seen constantly at each other throughout the beginning of season 9. The two scientists are still broken up, and fans are curious if the two will finally get back together, or will stay in their current status. A lot of speculations are swirling the Internet about the two's relationship; however, no confirmed details were released about Sheldon and Amy's relationship status.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 11, which is titled "The Force Awakens," will air on Dec. 17, the same day that "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" premieres in cinemas. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bob Newhart will guest star again as Arthur Jeffries, and will appear in Sheldon's dreams as a Jedi, which links the episode's title to the new "Star Wars" film.

The website also added Professor Proton, a.k.a. Arthur Jeffries, will help Sheldon finally sort out his feelings for Amy, which eventually leads to the "big event" that will happen in the episode.

Meanwhile, episode 10, which is titled "The Earworm Reverberation," does not have an air date yet, since the show will take a break during Thanksgiving next week.
