'The Bold and the Beautiful' News, Cast Update: Star Linsey Godfrey Hit by a Car

"The Bold and the Beautiful" star Linsey Godfrey was rushed to the hospital on Monday, Feb. 2, after she was struck by a car while walking along a sidewalk in Los Angeles, according to reports. According to the website, the actress was pinned under the vehicle after she was struck.

Police told TMZ that the 26-year old had already been pulled from the wreckage by a bystander when emergency responders arrived and rushed her to the hospital where he underwent surgery.

Sources told the website that the accident with Godfrey occurred when the car swerved onto the sidewalk after getting into an accident with another car. It was reported that neither driver has been arrested after the incident.

Initial reports claim that the actress broke both of her legs, a rep for the soap opera actress told People that Godfrey's injuries were limited to both her ankles, and that she is expected to make a full recovery.

Earlier in the day, the actress, who plays Caroline Spencer on the soap, had tweeted about getting her nails done and shared pictures on her Instagram.

Godfrey is a cancer survivor, having been diagnosed with lymphoma when she was just 18, and undergoing a dozen grueling rounds of chemotherapy. The actress has an 8-month old daughter, Aleda Seren Adamson, with her fiancé Robert Adamson.

Godfrey's co-star, Katherine Kelly Lang, who plays Brooke Logan on "The Bold and the Beautiful," wished the actress well as she took to Twitter and wrote, "Sending good thoughts and prayers and healing energy to @linseygodfrey!! Hope surgery goes well and hope to see you back at work very soon."
