'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers: Dr. Light's Identity to Be Revealed
"The Flash" season 2's next episode will finally shed light on the real identity of the new female character called Dr. Light.
In the next episode of "The Flash" season 2, Dr. Light will be introduced as a metahuman from Earth-Two, who will enter Earth-One via a breach between the two worlds. Although the female character's appearance was leaked by TVLine in August, her real identity is still unknown, according to Design & Trend.
Based on an Australian trailer for the next "The Flash" season 2 episode titled "The Darkness and the Light," the character is Linda Park, who will be played by Malese Jow. She is the ex-lover of Barry (Grant Gustin) and co-worker of Iris (Candice Patton) at the Central City Picture News, the report details.
Barry, Iris, and the whole Team Flash have already seen the people from Earth-Two, but in the premiere of season 2, The Flash was able to halt the singularity. Dr. Light's purpose for making her way to Earth-One is to kill Linda, and the latter does not know what exactly is happening.
The synopsis for the next episode also reveals that Dr. Light will blind The Flash and will reveal something about Zoom (Tony Todd). Barry will also ask Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) to help him defeat the new metahuman villain, Realty Today reports.
In addition, the upcoming episode will reveal if Barry will finally learn to trust the Wells of Earth-Two, the report adds.
The revelation about Zoom will come during the next episode of "The Flash" titled "Gorilla Warfare." In this episode, Grodd will return to wreak havoc on Central City. The gorilla will kidnap Caitlin and Team Flash will have to move fast to rescue her before everything is too late.
"The Flash" season 2's next episode, "The Darkness and the Light," airs on Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
