'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers: Group to Take Down Zoom

The upcoming episode of "The Flash" Season 2 will have the group dealing with Zoom once again.

The previous episodes of the series had the villain Zoom up against Barry Allen, played by Grant Gustin. In addition, it was finally revealed that Zoom is actually Jay Garrick, played by Teddy Sears. This new information, which they found out by using Cisco's new found powers, will show the group conflicted since Jay was their friend.

Nevertheless, fans can expect to see more of the vicious antagonist in the upcoming episode titled, "Versus Zoom." It was also stated that fans will have the chance to learn more about Zoom's doppelganger named Hunter Zolomon.

The synopsis of the upcoming episode teased the history of Zolomon. This is expected to help the group determine just what they need in order to prevent Zoom from creating anymore disasters to the city. However, they will also need Cisco's power in order to create a portal that will lead them to Zoom's world.

Meanwhile, it was also stated that a new face will be seen in an upcoming episode of the season. Fans will see Jason Mewes take part in "The Flash" Season 2 in an episode directed by Kevin Smith. Smith tweeted the news last week, exciting fans on twitter.

He said, "Meta-Mewes! The folks at @cwtheflash were kind enough to include a cameo for my hetero life mate @jaymewes in the..."

According to Den of Geek, Mewes will be taking on the role of a villain. However, there has yet to be any concrete details about Mewes' upcoming role in th series. It was said that his episode will take place around May of this year.

"The Flash" Season 2 Episode 18 will air on ABC this Apr. 19.
