'The Hateful Eight' News: Movie Trailer Has Finally Arrived
Quentin Tarantino's fittingly eighth movie, "The Hateful Eight," has finally released its second trailer, and fans are excited to see a great ensemble of talents included in the film.
The movie was first teased by the award-winning director in 2013; however, the script was leaked, so Tarantino decided to shelve the movie project. He decided to make it a novel instead, but after a while, the director changed his mind. Tarantino pushed through with his original plan to make a movie out of the story of "The Hateful Eight," and the filming began last January.
According to the Alabama Media Group, the story of "The Hateful Eight" will tell about the story of eight individuals who are staying in a shelter, during a blizzard. Conflict immediately happened, and the website said that it did not take long "for the bullets to start flying," as seen on the new trailer that was released. Entertainment Weekly also said that since the shelter is packed with bounty hunters and a prisoner, "Lies, misdirection, and murder follow soon after."
The movie is set in post-Civil War Wyoming, and Tarantino said that the movie has a "Western Iceman Cometh kind of vibe." During his Interview with Entertainment Weekly last May, the director described that the story focuses on a group of guys that don't trust each other. "That wasn't a marching order when I sat down to write the script, but pretty quickly I realized this is kind of a nice coming-full-circle," he said.
The movie stars Samuel L. Jackson as "The Bounty Hunter," Kurt Russell as "The Hangman," Jennifer Jason Leigh as "The Prisoner," Walton Goggins as "The Sheriff," Demián Bichir as "The Mexican," Tim Roth as "The Little Man," Michael Madsen as "The Cow Puncher," and Bruce Dern as "The Confederate."
"The Hateful Eight" will come out on Dec. 25 in a limited release, before it premieres on Jan. 8, 2016.
