'The Man in the High Castle' Season 2 – Here the News and Updates as Release Date Looms: Amazon Prime Series Present at Comic Con International 2016
After a successful Season 1 run, fans are now awaiting what the next season of the TV series "Man in the High Castle" will offer.
The first season was based on the novel by Philip K. Dick. It explores a 1960 version of America. In the first season, the Axis powers won during the World War II and occupied the United States as their conquered territory. The story follows the fighters for exploit of resistance and intelligence agents who come from the Pacific States to the Greater Nazi Reich in the east.

"Man in the High Castle" Season 2 will be released in Amazon later this year. The series is Amazon's second drama which was able to secure a sophomore season.
Frank Spotnitz will not be the showrunner of the season but will be the executive producer of the ten episodes. Alongside Spotnitz are Ridley Scott, David Zucker, and Isa Dick Hackett, who is Dick's daughter. The release of the first season was during Amazon's pilot season in the early 2015. It was then the service's most watched pilot.
After the first season, Spotnitz stepped down as showrunner, which now leaves the second season without one yet. Amazon has reported that all the creative production of the series will have to be transferred to the west coast given its scope. Amazon though is grateful for Spotnitz contribution of the most watched Amazon video and also is excited on how Season 2 will come out.
Comic Con 2016
Furthermore, Amazon will be bringing "Man in the High Castle" to the Comic Con 2016. Amazon Village will be set up directly across the Convention Center during Comic Con 2016. This means, that downtown San Diego will be taken over for an interactive experience with fans. They will be given a four-day up-close look of the "Man In the High Castle" together with "Thunderbirds Are Go."
Amazon Village will be open with no Comic Con badge required for the public. Schedules are from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. on July 21-22, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. on July 23 and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on July 24.
Comic Con International: San Diego is a big event for the world of comics. It is attended by comics enthusiasts from all over the world. Each day has a number of exhibits and surprises scheduled for the attendees. This year the convention will be held on July 21 – July 24, 2016 at the San Diego Convention Center and will have a preview on July 20.
