The Success of The First Season

"The Man In The High Castle" is considered as Amazon's pioneering show that offers genre-bending drama. According to the Variety, the dystopian thriller was the most watched show of the streaming service, with a 1.42 demo and viewership of 3.44 million adults.

The Amazon original series also received positive feedback from critics. "'The Man in the High Castle' is unlike anything else on TV, with an immediately engrossing plot driven by quickly developed characters in a fully realized post-WWII dystopia," Rotten Tomatoes praised the series, giving it an approval rating of 95 percent.

Moreover, RollingStone has also included the web television series in its list of "40 Best Science Fiction TV Shows of All Time." The magazine lauded the Amazon show for its unique and intriguing storylines.

According to Meghan O'Keefe of Decider, there is a big chance that "The Man In The High Castle" will replicate the success of "Game of Thrones." "If 'The Man In The High Castle" delivers bigger thrills, crazier intrigue, and more explosive moments next season, it might be the show that pushes Amazon Studios into the pop culture consciousness in a big way," she wrote.

As of press time, there was no official release date for "The Man in The High Castle" Season 2. However, it is expected to return to the streaming service early next year.
