'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' News: Cast Members Share Their Sentiments on Las Vegas Tragedy
The cast of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" have shared their sentiments on last week's Las Vegas mass shooting incident that left almost 60 people dead and more than 500 injured.
Speaking with TooFab recently at the launch of their fellow "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Vanderpump's "Road to Yulin" dog abuse documentary at L.A. Live, Kyle Richards, Camille Grammer, and Dorit Kemsley shared their opinion on the Las Vegas tragedy last Oct. 2, which is considered as the worst case of mass shooting incident in U.S. history. According to Richards, because of the said incident, it is scary to be a parent at these times.
Kemsley shared the sentiments of her fellow "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star. According to the reality TV star, she can't help but worry what future awaits her kids and can only hope that she can do something to change the world into a better place.
"I've got two babies, so it is so hard to see these things happen. It breaks my heart. I almost go into a depression about it. And I think about what I can do to help change some of the things that are happening right now because I don't want my two little children to grow up in that kind of world," Kemsley said.
Grammer, on the other hand, could only describe the incident as heinous, terrible, and horrific. According to the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star, the news has upset her and has made her more prayerful for the sake of the victims and their loved ones, at least.
"My prayers are just there for them. I've been praying a lot lately," Grammer said.
For Vanderpump, though, the Las Vegas tragedy made her realize that people have been fighting for more kindness and empathy in the world all along. While the incident was nothing short of devastating, Vanderpump believes that keeping the fight for kindness and empathy is the right thing to do.
'We've been devastated by what's gone on in the news this week, and I guess we just keep fighting the fight," Vanderpump said.
Meanwhile, reports claim that the perpetrator of the Las Vegas shooting incident, Stephen Paddock, who killed himself upon realizing that authorities were coming for him, may have had a severe mental illness that went undiagnosed.
