'The Voice' Australia Season 5 News: Jessie J Rumored to Be Making Her Return as Coach
Nine Network's hit reality singing competition "The Voice" will be back next year for its fifth season, and according to reports, one of the coaches that is said confirmed to come back is Jessie J.
According to news.com.au, several industry sources say that the British singer will be back to "turn" her red chair since she "signed" another season on "The Voice" Australia. The report said that Jessie J was spotted at the Sydney airport, and sources connected her visit to ongoing negotiations with Nine Network.
The network has not yet confirmed the details of the 27-year-old singer's possible return to "The Voice," as well as the other coaches who will possibly join her. Fans wanted the "Price Tag" singer to be back, since Jessie J was the coach of this year's winner, Ellie Drennan, who is also the youngest "The Voice" Australia winner in its four-year history.
Fans love Kylie Minogue's replacement as coach, since Jessie J is said to be brutally honest, and viewers love her banter with Delta Goodrem, one of the other coaches. However, the singer said she felt that the Australian audience do not love her, according to the Daily UK. "I'm very aware that there is a lot of people in Australia that don't like me and that's OK," she said. It seems that all is well now since she's being considered to come back to Australia to judge.
Meanwhile, the website added that the other coaches that are speculated to return are Delta Goodrem, Seal, Keith Urban, Kylie Minogue, Joel and Benji Madden, Ricky Martin, and will.i.am. Some new names that are also rumored to join the show are Jessica Mauboy, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, and Meghan Trainor.
"The Voice" Australia season 5 is expected to return between April and June next year.
