'The Voice' Season 8 News: Coaches and New Mentors Revealed

"The Voice" is gearing up for another great season as NBC released who will be sitting in the revolving chairs for season 8 and who will be the new mentors assisting them.

Pharell Williams will be keeping his chair this season after his spectacular coaching during season 7. Gwen Stefani won't be returning to the show, but Christina Aguilera will be making her triumphant return after two seasons off the hit series.

During her break, Aguilera gave birth to daughter Summer Rain in August. The singer took to Twitter in October to express her excitement on her comeback as she wrote, "New baby. New Music. New season of @NBCtheVoice. Bringing #FireAndFun to all, can't wait for 2015!"

In addition to being a mother and her return on the NBC show, Aguilera will certainly have her hands full in the coming months as she is also currently working on her eighth studio album.

Aguilera and Williams will join veteran coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine for season 8.

Meanwhile, the NBC singing competition has reportedly recruited Meghan Trainor, Ellie Goulding, Nick Jonas, and Lionel Richie to serve as mentors to the contestants, and they will be assisting the coaches for the show's spring run.

According to Us Weekly, Richie will help Team Pharrell, Goulding will help Team Adam, Jonas will be working with Aguilera, while Trainor will team up with Shelton.

Richie is no stranger to the show as he previously served as guest mentor alongside Aguilera in season 2 of "The Voice." Trainor, Goulding, and Jonas have all taken the "Voice" stage as guest performers. The mentors will be entering the competition during the battle round stage, following the blind auditions.

"The Voice" premieres its eighth season on NBC on Monday, Feb 23.
