'The Young And The Restless' Spoilers, Plot Rumors: 'General Hospital' Alum Jason Thompson Joins Show As New Billy
Fans of the soap opera "The Young and the Restless" will have to brace themselves as changes along with lots of drama are going to happen this week.
It can be remembered from last week's events that the Abbotts were grieving after Billy was brutally beaten by his bookie and got ran over by a car by accident. Fortunately, it didn't end his life and he was brought to the hospital.
This week, things for Billy are about to get better. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, this will be the week in which the show will welcome "General Hospital" alum Jason Thompson. He will be introduced as the new Billy, which means that he will look different and his family will really need some time adjusting to the changes. Thompson will debut on the Jan. 13 episode.
Prior to that, Christian Today reported that Billy's critical condition will have his family talking about taking off his life support. Meanwhile, Dr. Neville will offer to perform surgery on Billy as the doctor wants to try his experimental treatment on the patient. Victoria will be against it but Michael reminded her that the decision does not lie in her hands. Instead, it will be up to Jack.
And speaking of Jack, Billy has never been his favorite. In fact, he treated him as the black sheep in the family. But after his brother's near-death encounter, Jack is determined to change things between them. The first thing that he will do for his brother is to invest with Kevin on behalf of Billy.
International Business Times also detailed that in the coming episodes, Lily and Hilary will be at odds with each other. Victor will also be having some insightful moments concerning his marriage to Nikki and will try to talk to her about it. Mariah will also try to get some answers from Noah. We Love Soaps also reported that by the end of the week, Billy's health will be getting better and Chelsea will be asking Victor for the truth. Kevin will also be getting an unexpected visitor.
